I posted this in John Medd's Peel blog but I think it probably could do with a bit of a blog of it's own. Peely, Radcliffe, Kershaw & Steven Wells, keeping it Peel.

I still have so much affection for John Peel...
but my god did he play some shite on his radio shows. That lot in the clip should never have been allowed anywhere near a recording studio. Utter garbage.
That brought back memories
I was at film school with the trumpet solo player. We were all insanely jealous that they got to record a Peel session, but - being film students and utterly up our own arses - we were way too cool to admit it.
I had that song
... on my Best John Peel Sessions tape. If I had that tape now, everything would be alright.
