More bleedin' Exile

I've just been into the local Asda and not only did they have Chunky Monkey ice cream, but the two disc Exile for £9.00. Is this a good thing?

Haven't The Stones missed out here?
Shouldn't they have sourced the original tapes, laid down Mick and Keith's new vocals and put it out as a fresh LP?
Nothing has ever come out in the way of bonus tracks before and so 99% of the population would have been none the wiser and the group would now be standing proud with their best LP, by a considerable distance, since 'Exile'.
But ...
... it's no. 1 in the charts !
And does contain 3 alternate versions of tracks on the original.
