Martin Sheen

On Desert Island Discs. Just wanted to recommend this. It's on a podcast and should still be on iPlayer. It's really very good. That's all.

Listened to it this morning...
...walking the dogs. Interesting, enlightening, funny and sad...there's a man with both his head and heart in the right place.
It was a very good
editiion of DID.
He came across as someone who lives life as a normal human and not in a rarified celebrity atmosphere.
Thirded
I also liked his response to the "How do you want to be remembered?" question.
"For about 5 minutes."
Smashing programme
I wasn't planning to listen to this, but it was a treat. Kirsty Young is very good at establishing a rapport with guests and asking the right questions.
I was gripped by how Sheen survived his heart attack on his own in the middle of nowhere.
Personally speaking,
I'd be happy to establish a rapport with Kirsty, and she could ask me anything she liked.
I've been watching....
...the British At Work programme of hers. I don't think I've heard a frickin' word she's said.
