My three highlights of the WOMAD festival are strongly recommended - dizzying Mali guitar legend Djelimady Tounkara (listen here), the horn-driven soul review Sharon Jones And The Dap Kings (watch here), and thrilling Congolese noise-makers Konono No 1 (sensational video here). And we watched another sterling performance by generously-tattooed white blues hobo Seasick Steve at The 12 Bar Club (free downloads here).
