The Magic Of Bruce Springsteen

David Wright's picture

The Boss's new album is certainly his best in years and I can't stop listening to it, definitely my album of the year so far. I just have one gripe; The track "Girls In Their Summer Clothes" sounds so familar and I am having sleepless nights trying to figure out where the melody is nicked from. Please help me.

You're right, it does sound

You're right, it does sound like The Kids Are Alright, but there's something else too I think. Cheers anyway.

It's my favourite song on

It's my favourite song on what is a great album. I was just thinking the other day that there are shades of 'Love and Understanding' by Cher in there. Her song was a hit in 1991, and Bruce's song does have that 90's feel to it.

'You'll Be Coming Down' - the song which appears a mere four tracks earlier on the album... ;-)
