From the Magazine... some things to read

Roger Waters
The Floyd man on Barack Obama, Dark Side of The Moon, Syd Barrett, and the tube journey from Goldhawk Road to Paddington.

Will Self
We can never fit everything into THE WORD that we’d like to, so here are the 'unreleased tracks' from this month’s FACE TIME interview with the always-illuminating Will Self.

Wikipedia
Are cracks appearing in the oracle? Steve Bowbrick on the rise and possible demise of Wikipedia.

Roger Waters

Turn to page 87 of this month's issue and see if, like me, you first thought that Richard Gere and not Roger Waters, was the subject under interview.

Agreed...

I posted elsewhere that Roger Waters has miraculously transformed from a fairly plain looking bloke in his youth (I'm trying to be kind here) to a bloody handsome chap in his sixties.

How does this work? And is there a chance I'm going to look that good when I'm 60?!

Patrick

No mate. That kind of transformation only happens to rock stars and most celebs. The likes of you and me will have to put up with balding, buggered biceps and black-circled eyes.
