On the subject of the virtual world colliding with reality
In the car when I'm having a conversation with my partner and I can't quite hear what he's saying because of the noise of the engine I often find myself just about to reach out to adjust the volume control - oops, no I can't do that can I!
Rewind
I often wish to rewind in real life in order to see something again
Have your say
This is not a criticism of Andrew Harrison (he's probably my favourite Worder), but I felt I was trapped in some sort of bizarre feedback loop of opinion reading this month's column. One person commenting on other people commenting on the death of Amy Winehouse.
And now of course I'm commenting on his commenting on other people's commenting on the death of Amy Winehouse. Where will it all end?
I think Mark E. Smith summed up modern discourse in the Guardian earlier this year:
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
A lot of people seem obliged to have a viewpoint.
