I just borrowed the first series on DVD from a mate who raved about it, didn't really fancy it at first but soon got hooked and loved every minute of it.
Great TV even if the characters were all pretty unsympathetic.

I think the second series is actually better than the first. It might not appear so from the first couple of episodes. but by the end you will be in no doubt.

...it looks absolutely gorgeous, the sets, the clothes, the hats. The actors are all top-knotch, especially the wonnerful January Jones, but at times ...it drags, it takes just a little too long to move the story along. At times a wee bit too much in love with it´s look.
Still, I love it.

Outstanding piece of television!

Just caught up with it on BBC iPlayer and it really is finding its feet, first series was great but this is vital.

Avoid at your peril!
