Lost!

Has anyone seen my CD of Astral Weeks...
...I have the case...
...but no cd...
...does anyone find that their other half has a tendancy to not put CD's back in their right cases (or at all). It drives me mad...

Don't get me started
Disc 2 of Roy Harper at The Royal Festival Hall; The Seldom Seen Kid, which fortunately I got a friend to burn a replacement copy of and a couple more. Grrrrr.
I'm guessing
that women are involved. And you know what happens when women are left to 'look after' cds. (Alphabetical order? Don't talk to me about alphabetical order. Bah.)
a single man writes/confesses
A Choice Selection of Strawbs - vanished into the ether, replaced by a mate
if cassettes count: endless, nameless
Flatmates
...and parties have counted for at least ten missing cds from their cases never to be seen again.
One flatmate used to borrow Goldfrapp's Black Cherry to soundtrack the entertaining of ladyfriends. I never saw it again, until after I moved and he bought me a copy for my birthday, thanking me for helping him to get laid on more than one occasion.
Teenage children
Can I add teenagers to this thread?
They dont possess CD's of course, well not many, with them its DVD's.
Here is the list of current problem areas....
Hollywoodland - not in case - Explanation from son number 1 - Might be in my locker at work - (Why????, why the disk and not the case????)
Lost Series 3 - wanted by son number 2 - Lent by son number 1 to mate, will get it back when I see him again - timescale "whenever" (Permission from me before lending - dont make me laugh)
Battlestar Gallactica Series 1 - DVD carriers neatly fused into outer cardboard box making them impossible to remove - sharp knife finally required - cause of fusing unknown, once discovered superglue will be out of business
The mirror problem also exists.
The office and son number 2's bedroom are full of DVD discs without any sign of boxes - these are mainly Family Guy and Scrubs so no problem but occasionally my stuff also appears on the floor, in the bed, in empty Dominos boxes.
Are things going to get any better or is this a generation thing?
Can I recommend the use of
some corrective education:
Rather knocks...
... the 'Naughty Step' into a cocked hat.
Solid Gone
Three copies of Solid Air have gone missing. Yes, three. I have no idea where they've all gone. I still have the cases - kept for posterity.
I am now on my fourth copy and to be honest, I'm not that confident that it'll stay in my possession for too long if past form is anything to go by.
I have a remedy
dont let any woman near your cd collection - they dont understand and never will. Sexist? You bet!!
Has anyone got my original vinyl copy of Bongos over Balham?
I last saw it in 1975.
A friend subsequently bought another copy at a second hand shop, and I was convinced it was going to be mine, but when I held it under UV light and under water at the equinox, my secret code hieroglyphic failed to appear.
If any of you rented a blue Renault Megane...
...from Arnold Clark in Glasgow's west end some time in 2004 and found disc 2 of Anthology in the CD player, could you send it to me, please? Disc 1 is feeling somewhat lonely.
