Linux - what flavour do you favour?
At the risk of being castigated for being insufficiently 'Rock', I thought I'd check out the Massive's geekier proclivities and ask what, if any, version of Linux blows up our collective frock?
Is SuSe the one you use?
Or is Ubuntu the one you run to?
Is Mint, "mint"?
Do you tip your hat to Fedora?
On the other hand, do you find Debian to be plebian?
I'm fannying around with a cheap netbook (HP 2133) and looking for no more than access to the internet, email and possibly a touch of OpenOffice and the off film on VLC. Oh, and Spotify via WINE would be nice as well.
I've played around with Ubuntu for a while and it's fine, but am happier to brave something a bit more esoteric if the pain is worth the gain.
Come on! Embrace your inner nerd and share!
Oh, and most importantly - Lienux or Linnux?

Ubuntu for me
It pretty much "just works" which is a change from the old days when you needed to be able to patch some hex codes to get access.

What's...
Linux when it's at home?
Edit: ah, I see. Difficult computer thingy.
When I'm on holiday
Eee PC running Xandros Desktop. It covers the basics.
Xandros...
...don't you have to pay for that one, Fraser?
It came
pre-installed.
Ubuntu on my laptop
I've got Mint on a virtual machine and it looks quite nice too.
I use eeBuntu on my netbook.
EEE PC 901 with Ubuntu Netbook Remix
Fraser, you should try this. It's miles better than Xandros, and dead easy to install.
Let's not forget that OS/X is basically UNIX too.
One at a time, please...
I'm already downloading eeBuntu.
Fuck me I'm confused....
sorry, I just finished listening to the podcast and the *shocking* language has stuck. I think I need to go on a computer course.
I attend Linux user groups
I recommend it. You can learn a lot there from people who seriously know their stuff.
