LC in NYC last month

Nigel Legg's picture

I thought I'd better point out to the proper authorities (i.e. you lot)that some cove has posted a recording of a recent (last month) live performance by one Mr Leonard Cohen on the T.U.B.E website.

Should the proper authorities wish to check it out it is available here:

Despicable

I will have to run off a copy to keep as evidence for Lord Carter, when he comes to solicit my views.
Some of the others look quite, um, disgraceful too.

Shocking!

I frequently visit that despicable place and have amassed quite a library of evidence.

Disgusting

Call in the peelers. I quick investigation reveals a Phil Collins concert I was working at and a Genesis concert in 1975 that may be using an old tape of mine. Hanging is not good enough for them. Off with their heads!

TUBE is predominently lossy

Try The Traders Den or Dimeadozen for *lots* of boots of known provenance and lossless quality

I have been monitoring

DIME for several years now and found many boots of lossless quality including the Cohen which only took 15 mins to download.

Once I have downloaded everything I want (this is an open ended stakeout) I shall write to the fuzz and suggets they ban it.

My own recording of Metallica at O2 is NOT on Trader's Den. That's a filthy lie

Anyone suspect..

...the reason he wouldn't let them broadcast his Glastonbury performance was due to him planning a live album/DVD release? It was said that it was because the cameras would put him off, but they filmed it for the screens anyway so that's clearly not the case. I was there and it was one of my highlights, would have quite liked a recording.
