Lazy, Tedious, Pointless.

I'm rather impressed with Marina and the Diamonds - original, interesting and has something to say (to her target audience). Why then has someone decided to hand her latest single to this bunch of talentless twerps in order to create this abortion of a track?

Or am I just a grumpy old git?

Lazy, Tedious, Pointless.

I was hoping for footage of the three dwarfs who didn't make the final seven. Maybe they got together and went into music production...

Must be late.

Took me a wee while to get that..

Much too clever for me, Adman. An "up" for you, sir, and no mistake.

It's a shitty remix

Of an otherwise good song. And Marina is a very pretty girl.

Doesn't this remix

"have something to say" to its target audience?

Are you against remixes per se, or just this one? If the latter, please explain why.

Perhaps it does

in which case I am a grumpy old git after all!

I have nothing against remixes per se, and when done well they can often turn a mediocre track into one of greatness.

However, to me, this particular one just appears to be the very lazy and clumsy dumping of a generic club track onto a song that can stand on its own two feet. I just don't see the point and am struggling to see what this remix has added.

However, returning the challenge, if you can see merit in it, please explain why.

The new Paloma Faith?

I think so.
