Is The Word going to sponsor Latitude 2011? Just bought our tickets - the addition of a fiver for a child's ticket does not tick me off half as much as them charging another fiver per ticket as a booking fee!

That's a real shame. I personally thought you did a much better job than the previous sponsors, in terms of line-up, getting people involved and general presence.

Far better line up, plus it actually looked like you gave a s**t, compared to the previous sponsor. Next year,however, I will be giving Latitude a miss and instead sampling the delights of Supersonic Festival.
As a point of interest Fraser, what was the take up like for your sub offer at the festival?

you can come back to Cornbury, your spiritual home?

Great shame. Any chance you could share the thinking? Did you want to go back and get outbid, or did it not deliver what you were expecting? Be interested to know the Word views on the business side of things at Latitude, i.e. the bits we don't see
