Knack lost...

In the kingdom of the hitless...

... the one-hit wonder is king, and they don't get much better than "My Sharona", so bless him for giving us that little gem, horrifically overplayed at the time, but fresh as a daisy today, no wonder The Knack couldn't follow it (though "Good Girls Don't" buzzes along nicely.)

PS Interesting to see his manager was Jake Hooker, of fellow one-hitters The Arrows...

Harking back to an earlier thread...

... weren't The Knack significantly undermined (in the UK, at least) by an extraordinarily ill-judged interview in the NME where Mr Fieger came across (or was deliberately portrayed - who knows?) as a knob of the first order?

Seem to remember how he knew all about reggae through his mum's Harry Belafonte collection...?
