Judie Tzuke

Just found this on YouTube and the sound (described as HQ Audio) is fantastic even on my tinny laptop speakers.
I've seen Judie several times over the years and she has always seemed to suffer from nerves on stage, although this seems to add a certain magic to her slower songs.

Always loved that (bought it as a single)
and Stay with me til dawn. But then I was probably rather a yearning kind of teenager, truth be told ...
well...
I would
Judie's first
Judie's first album "Welcome To The Cruise" remains one of my most treasured..... Apart from the singles, two tracks standout, the first, (the title track) closely followed by "Sukarita"... absolutely briliant!
Catch her on tour this Autumn...
Nestles
between Tikaram and Vega in a smallish LP collection-I've just removed it to remind me to play it again sometime.
Basingstoke gig 14 Oct 10
I saw Judie last night at Basingstoke and I have to say she sounded absolutely fantastic, in fact the best I've heard her live ever. I spoke to her afterwards and said that there seemed to be a lot of love in the room and she agreed that she felt much more relaxed than she sometimes does and she really enjoyed performing last night. I have to say that Bailey Tzuke and Tallullah on BVs sounded great too.
Not thought about Judie in years
but I played my big brother's copy of "You are the Phoenix" till I almost wore the cassette out. Does that date me a tad?
