I'll wait till I hear it

The Verve Remixed project was a great success, both critically and commercially - particularly the first one.

I would even go as to say

The First 2 Archie. The only difference would be that they were all different artists remixed. Not sure I could take a full album of remixed J Cash. Has there ever been an album that consisted of remixed tracks from the same artist that actually stood up? Can't think of any off hand.

Probably not

But the midtempo 4/4 of most of Cash's songs does lend itself to remixing in a wide range of styles - house, hip hop, trip hop, dubstep. I'm not saying this album manages to do anything different or interesting, but the potential is there, surely. After all, the original arrangements were never really essential components of his songs, which were made (or sometimes broken) by That Voice, weren't they?

Primal Scream

Echo Dek by Primal Scream is fantastic - loads of dub remixes by Adrian Sherwood of their Vanishing Point album.
