I´m not a big fan of Joan, mainly due to her voice, but I really enjoyed this documentary. She seems a nice person with a warm sense of humour. It also features the usual - and some unusual - suspects (yes, Bob appears). It´s available until eleven pm tomorrow.

I saw her...
...at a concert for A Landmine Free World in Edinburgh about 10 years ago. I honestly don't know enough of her work to form an opinion but Bob Dylan said she was a master guitar player and Steve Earle said she must have had massive balls to sing Joe Hill in front of hundreds of thousands at Woodstock. She must have something to get such high praise.
I saw her in Princes Street Gardens(Princes Street is Edinburgh's main road). A couple of hundred yards west along Princes St from where she was playing is a famous church. Baez said her grandfather was the minister there.
