Jason Manford...What Was He Thinking???
Posted by bamthwok on 19 November 2010 - 12:58pm.
Or was he?
Stand up going down a storm...check
Prime Time TV...check
Happy home life...check (acknowledged, not privy to peek behind the net curtains)
We all make stupid mistakes but how magnified are they in today's multimedia spotlight?

What was he thinking?
"Cor, look at the norks on that....etc"
Good point, well made
But...er, er...
I understand your original point
It puzzles me when people with seemingly perfect lives go and ruin everything with destructive behaviour. I guess money and success are no barrier to human fallibilty.
I agree with Lucifer Sam
Twitter is dangerous when in the wrong hands, Has he signed off from both Twitter and The One Show ?
Who
is Jason Manford?
Jason Manford
Mancunian stand-up comic turned TV panel show regular turned BBC One Show presenter.
But does this mean
he gets out of the window cleaning stunt at 1 Canada Square?
It all seems to have gone quiet on the subject.
Or are the BBC concerned he might toss himself off...
Pardon!!!
I guess that would put paid to the rest of his career - although it doesn't seem to have stopped Lenny.
I think Chris Evans
is doing that anyway.
Stupid boy, you can't fart these days if you on the BBC as the Daily mail are watching
Thanks
That's what I was hoping for.
Chris Evans being thrown off the Canary Wharf Tower, that is.
It looks like the Sun was first to break the news re Manford.

"I was a d***head. My wife has called me a d***head."
Manford is an avid Manchester City fan.
I was at one of his shows last week
I was at one of his shows last week, he opened with "Has everyone had a good week?" Crowd: "YAAAAAAY." JM: "Well I'm glad someone has..."
After that the gig seemed to go well (I really enjoyed it) but towards the end a heckler shouted "How's Deborah?" and he looked mightily pissed off. He mentioned that his wife was in the audience, and the heckler himself then recieved some abuse from another audience member. Manford managed to steer the subject onto the guy who famously has been prosecuted for tweeting a flippant airport/terrorist remark and he recovered the show well.
I thought it had all blown over already, but aparently not. Whilst I don't condone what he did, it's up to his wife to take issue with it, not me. What do you reckon the odds are that the bbc told him to resign?
I bet he's glad 8 Out Of 10 Cats isn't on at present, the "what has everyone been talking about this week" section would be rather awkward.
