I did listen actually

didn't hear the unthanks, fraid saw the new puritans live and they too too serious like fierce little hamster can't take then seriously thankfully went out before the honking dreadful free jazz. I do like maconie but I am weary of his all things to all me approach he seems like he was a mr benn as kid "today i will be punk", "today I will a northern soul boy". I normally last 40 mins or so before the Italian prog or sqeealing jazz comes on.

It was a lovely...

way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Jarvis certainly has the voice, personality and music taste. Missed the first hour of the show - thank goodness for the iPlayer. Looking forward to next Sunday.

Great news!

I can't believe it's taken this long for the call to come. He's a natural for radio - sharp, funny and (crucially) keen on music old and new. Go Jarv..

Podcast

Nice, any idea if there will be a podcast? No sign of one on the BBC pages yet, but it sometimes takes a couple of days.

No need to wait for a podcast

Get yourself down to:

http://po-ru.com/projects/iplayer-downloader/

This magic little programme will download anything from iPlayer (including TV) as if it were a podcast. Get it while it lasts or until the Beeb find a way to stop it.
