It's spring

Don't know about you southern types, but the last few days have - at last - had the feel of the beginning of spring. Some clear blue skys at this time of year really lift the heart. I reckon this is one of the best Spring songs, it has a timeless, primitive mysticism:
And I know it is a cliche now, but this next one still produces the required effect doesn't it?
I am feeling a mite more optimistic now.

Not going to post a link, but...
...I feel that the lines "it's been a long, cold, lonely winter" are more true than they have been in living memory. That ice is slowly melting.

Here come the blue skies...
One of my all time favourite songs with a chorus I just can't help but sing whenever I see a patch of blue amidst the grey.

Has been lovely down here too. The daffs are out, and it's feeling much warmer. Supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday, but that's part of Spring too, isn't it?
