It's My Life was Talk Talk's best album
Posted by FreakGene on 13 April 2010 - 2:01pm.
I may be talking a whole heap of bollocks and I'll probably change my mind next week but...
I've been playing loads of Talk Talk recently, all the albums from start to finish and the A-sides album and so on and I think the one I keep coming back to is It's My Life.
The Party's Over is hard to listen to apart from two or three moments and Colour of Spring, Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock are superb albums and all could be called classics even.
It's My Life though has a life all of it's own in my own stupid opinion. The first side is quite handy but the second side is where it's at man!
There's some overlooked beauties on there and it even sounds great with Linn Drums and synths. So there.
Back to work now.

No No No No No No No
..it may be their 4th best at a push…
It`s the Colour of Spring for me
There`s been a lot of Talk Talk er....talk on here recently, any reason for that?
Anyway, its always The Colour of Spring for me...less new romantic than the earlier two and more accessable than the last two.
Having said that, i`ll have to go and listen to It`s my life now...but have you heard Its my Mix? Think it`s an Italian only remix album (no, come back...) but it`s got some cracking extended versions of Such a shame, My Foolish Friend and more.
