Must be Christmas........the German market opens in Birmingham today, so the season of sausage and Glühwein for lunch begins.
What event makes the Massive go and dig out their stockings?
And while we're at it, what music is on everybody's wish list for Crimble this year?
I've got a mix of stuff I want to catch up on but have missed so far - Editors, Booker T, Drive By Truckers, Regina Spektor, Levon Helm, to name but five.

Newish Christmas tunes (Kate Rusby)
South yorkshire's finest has an excellent Christmas lp out. They released it on 14th Dec last year so nobody could buy it in time so having another push. It's been put out again see link .
Well worth getting hold of a mixture of local versiosn and songs and carols and standards beautifully played and song. Kate's on tour too starting off in Penistone (half of Barnsley's biumvirate of humorously named satellite towns see also Wombwell ) and then further a field.

...nothing in November, that's for sure. I get out of bed for sausage any time of the year, though.
