Ay
chi hua hua!
I think you've just discovered the major reason for the British disinterest in serious news.
Phwoar
or as the French say, phwoar alors.
FIP
There is a French radio station called FIP - for the Paris area - which is actually the best radio station in the world.

They play everything from Weather Report to John Prine via Mozart and the Rolling Stones, check out the playlist here

and in addition to that has THE most alluring female presenters. Never has news that the périphérique is bloqué sounded better. Sorry, not very PC but hey.
Mr Hepworth
I was going to direct you to Taxi Driver but I think you should take a little break in Paris. Your recent posts hint at a certain longing...
I lived there for 6 years!
....and it is just as magnifique as you might imagine. I played in one of the only two country bands in Paris, along with Stephen "Year in the merde" Clarke who is an old mate of mine.
Moose
Is she the best that they can do?
You're full of envy and you forget Angela Ripon?
Shame on you Hepworth.
We used to have...
Anna Ford.
Emily Maitlis
I have a certain fascination for Emily actually. Known as "Bad girl" in our household.
Great..
It'll be bleeding German weather girls next.
Good Call
That song 'Es regnet Männer' is a camp disco classic.
Can I put in a ...
...word for Kate Silverton?
No!
and No again.
We've got Lucy
One of the perks of being Welsh (apart from enjoying the occasional trouncing of England at Twickers) is getting to see Lucy Owen reading the news.
Nuts
How did this page from the Nuts website end up on The Word site?
Sorry David
You're right. Post-match euphoria deadened my political sensibilities. I'm reddening slightly as I type.
I'd quite like to see a normal looking lady on the news...
...in this country. And not scary cyborgKaplinsky types. At least that French woman looks human. Bof! (etc)
