It may be wrong, but it feels so right...

Is it so very wrong to see a double CD of "SEVENTIES POWER BALLADS!" in HMV and *really* want to buy it?

Must... resist...

It would be worse

If you saw it in Tescos and wanted to buy it there.

If it has More Than A Feeling, do not resist

"I closed my eyes and I slipped awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy"

Now, if someone mentions More Than A Feeling,

then I am legally obliged to post the "air band" from Scrubs performing it. Jump to 30 seconds in.

I love Scrubs.
I love More Than a Feeling.

Man 'o' Soup, I really don't understand the dilemma here. If you're going to enjoy listening to it (and, c'mon, it's Seventies Power Ballads, OF COURSE YOU ARE, it'll be amazing), then go get yourself a double helping of happiness.

Is that wrong?

I already own every Seventies power ballad there is and I'm not ashamed. Nor should you be.

Music's to be enjoyed.

A Double?

Are you sure it's not a triple? If it's the one that's on Amazon then it looks very good.... well apart from the tracks that I would call power ballads that is! Blondie, Cheap Trick, T-Rex, Arrows, David Bowie, Raspberries. The compilation could nearly have easily have been called Seventies Powerpop and it would be just as misleading. The worst that could happen is that you don't like it and it ends up a waste of money.....or maybe it's worse if your favourite track turns out to be the Toto one!

I Bought American Anthems

It's got a hit rate of about 10 out of 60 tracks. For 8 quid it was a no brainer.

No shame, just a whole load of air guitar.

Do it.
