Actually on England's current form he probably won't, but here he is dismissing Ricky Ponting.
So what's the Massive's Humble Opinion about the current English cricket team?
Number 1 - can it last? Do they deserve it?
(Yes and yes for mine).

I preferred his History of Britain on the telly if i'm honest.
Never understood cricket, but it sweems very relaxing to watch, like goldfish in a tank or a potters wheel going around.
Er, yes
Sorry, and that was a thread I started!

Sharma to Strauss
Great bouncer from Sharma to Strauss a few minutes ago which took a big chunk out of the skipper's helmet peak.
Do they deserve it?
Yes. They've played the most tests in the time period of the rankings so the success is deserved if only for the physical and mental effort it will have taken.
Can it last?
Yes. They have good back-up in addition to the regular 1st team players and have demonstrated the ability to bounce back from losing sessions to winning innings. They know how to vary their game and how to dominate with bat and ball. Indivdiuals know how to contribute as individuals and within the team ethos: the bowling pack is testament to this. Their fielding alone is in a different league to India's. The 4th Test is a good psychological test for them. They've taken the top spot but can they apply themselves as ruthlessly to see India off for a 4-0 whitewash?
One of the things I love about test cricket is that the game gives you time to really appreciate the skills and temperament of the players. When they play well like this the personal investment as a fan in the test match form of the game delivers such a great pay-off.

Sreesanth pulls his length back, Bell stays deep in his crease
I found that terrifically funny. I am now going to get back to my Beano.
