Is This The Stupidest Rock N' Roll Photo Of Them All

Pat Carty's picture

Here's famed car insurance sales man Iggy Pop giving the finger to the crowd after accepting his place in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. Where do you start? Good luck to him making ads to bring in a few quid but don't give me this tired old Rawk n raallll routine after accepting the dubious award in the first place.

I suppose we should be grateful

that he kept his shirt on....

Fear Not

Whilst performing live later in the show, he surprised everyone by removing both Jacket and shirt.

The real rock'n'roll "attitude" gesture

The real rock'n'roll "attitude" gesture was that performed by Tony Hicks and Bobby Elliot. Despite pleadings from Graham Nash who was all for staging a "reunion" they couldn't make it to accept the Hollies' award because they were on tour over here. The customers had ponied up so they were going to play. Hippy traitor Nasher told them to cancel. They told him to stick that notion where the flowers don't grow.
