I'm currently in Amsterdam, having travelled from train from London via Paris to watch Ajax play Feyenoord after my flight was cancelled. And guess what? They've just called off the game - while the pitch is playable (the stadium has a roof), the health & safety brigade have decided that the travel chaos means fan safety is an issue.

And now I've got to figure out how to get back to London, as the return flight has also been cancelled. Meanwhile, long-haul flights seem to be taking off fine, with planes flying over my head every few minutes.

Grrr.
