Ah yes, Fiona.

We met by the yacht, supped wine, studied the stars. I made her laugh with a silly joke about Jupiter and then her hair brushed my forehead like the tail of a unicorn. She bit her lower lip almost in embarrassment and turned away. I held her shoulder, kissed the back of her neck, she turned around, draped her arm around me, pulled my head towards her and-

oh, hang on. No. That wasn't me.

Don't know that it's better than the original...

... and its not up there with Nina Simone but I am awfully partial to Earth Wind and Fire's version of Got To Get You Into My Life. Check out the Spinal Tap style intro folks...

Jason McNiff

This was last weeks blog....

OK, about not the best, but whether there were whole album's worth. (Answer: yes, in abundance.) But this song was posted, Emmylous fabulous Here, There and Everywhere, from the wonderful Elite Hotel, the LP I picked up on an offchance in 1975, opening up the doors of country far wider than my earlier Burritos dalliance had allowed by tehn.
