In the next hour you'll be receiving priority booking information for our next Word In Your Ear gig (assuming you gave us your e-mail address when you subscribed). Please don't post the link here because we do like to reward subscribers for their loyalty by giving them first crack. I'm sure you'll understand.

Does this mean...
...that my sister, who bought me my subscription as a present, may be getting an invite to this glittering social occasion? While I, who actually reads the thing, won't?
In this case, neither of you.
Your sister isn't a subscriber, so we don't mail her, and the subscription company don't have your e-mail address, so you're not on that particular mailing list. However, I've just e-mailed you the link via the address associated with your website account.
Exciting...
This is going to be a popular one, methinks...
and very 'Word' as well
Very.
How on earth are all The Dead going to fit on the stage?! :-)
No Mail
Any chance of checking the list (twice, ho, ho), renewed my sub a couple of weeks ago
I don't think I gave you my e-mail
when I subscribed....how do I get around that?
Pat & CSC
I've e-mailed you both the details.
Hi Fraser - could you do the same for me?
Same story, subscription a christmas present, much appreciated etc. My email is on the system. Cheers.
I've bought my ticket
All I need to do now is Bilko my way down for that date.
*set Master-Sergeant cap on back of head, thinks hard*
Got In Early This Time
Last time (Divine Comedy etc.) I made the mistake of hesitating and it sold out before I could book.
A lesson learned.
As the 1st of Feb is my birthday.......
but I'm as poor as a church mouse,I once again will not be anywhere near that London.Have a groovy night.
we'll raise a glass in your honour, amigo!
Thanks for the heads up
Alice W is rather splendid
When will the muggles find out
Enjoyed the Divine Comedy night out. It's not RT, is it?
Keen but no email
Subscriber of long standing but no email so far (and come to think of it, no Something for the weekend emails for a while either...)
Please could you check?
Much obliged.

Err ...
nothing received yet - probably didn't give my e-mail address when subscribing - any chance of a separate note via my e-mail address as per my account details Fraser?
Might be worth
checking your spam folders...
Mailing list stuff
Here's some clarification:
There are two entirely separate mailing lists.
1. The SFTW weekly mail goes out to website registrants only. Today's e-mail was not sent to this list.
2. The magazine subscribers list. This list is notified when we're putting gigs on, or when there are issues with delivery, or when the e-dition version of the magazine goes online. However, we do not have e-mail addresses for all subscribers - it's not required, for instance, if you subscribe over the phone. To ensure that we do have your e-mail address and can receive these e-mails, you can update your details at https://word.subscribeonline.co.uk/login
In both cases, if we have your details and the e-mails aren't reaching you, check your spam folder. If a message isn't there, it's probably been junked somewhere along the way, perhaps by your ISP. Blueyonder, for example, are notorious for this. There's very little we can do about this. Either way, if we have your details, you are being sent the mails.
Wooooooo!
I've booked. See you there xx
Me too.
Can't wait for this one. Gives me something to get excited about!
Got my ticket sorted
so fingers crossed I can make it to London then. If not, I will give it to my brother Mick.
Any chance of the latest issue...
... before Christmas? Or is Fraser going to dress up as Santa and come down my chimney?
If he does, he can clean up after himself.
You have
my email but I don't seem to have received this invite.
Me neither
.
nor me
hotmail a/c; not in junk folder; I do get the e-edition mails, so must be in the system.
Nor me
I'm afraid. I sometimes get "Something for the Weekend" though.
Thanks
Fraser.
Me too neither
I subscribe and get the something for the weekend but...
me too
think you may have an out of date email - if it's yahoo, it should be the same bit before the @ but gmail.com after it
Great! Right up my street...
Saw them a couple of months ago and it was amazing!
No mail here
No that I'm likely to be able to attend, but not received any mail. Nothing in the spam folder and I receive the email regarding the online version.
Not received this email either...
Is this because I live outside the UK? I'd love to know what's on offer as I travel to London from time to time. I receive all other mails from you (Something for the Weekend, link to latest issue online etc)
Yes
We only mailed this to UK subscribers. Will send to you separately.
Nor me
And I haven't received the Something For The Weekend e-mails for a few weeks either. Nothing in spam. Hmmm.
Nor me
Not received it either??? :(
Subscriber
since issue 2 - I aint got it. Billy no mates or what?
I've been a subscriber since issue 2, too!
Does this mean we're twins? COOL!
If we are twins
you got all the looks!!
Still didn't get an email though, did you? If any of the Word hierarchy turn up at the Massive meet on the 7th I think you should contaminate their portions of the cake that we all hope you make.
You lucky, lucky people...
No way I could get to central London for a weekday gig :-{. You're in for a treat though, I saw WJ in Manchester recently, supported by Mark Radcliffe & band. Both brilliant. Norman Watt-Roy is jaw-droppingly good. And, ladies, audience was 99.999% male (but, like me, mostly past their sell-by dates). Enjoy!
I haven't received anything
could you send something on to me please?
