I'd like to post a song from the October issue "Now Hear This" CD. I must admit I never listen to the CD (see Bobs thread about open-mindedness). Anyway I was about to discard it when I noticed that there was a Naomi Bedford track featuring some other bloke on there, I came across her when she supported the other bloke a couple of years ago and was blown away by her voice. This is rather lovely yet haunting, Naomi kicks in about half way through, it is worth waiting for. Hope you enjoy it.

I've had this CD
for a few months now courtesy of one of the other blokes who plays on it. It hasn't strayed far from the player since. The whole album is worth checking out

Paul Simmonds
Am I right in thinking that Paul Simmonds from The Men They Couldn't Hang wrote some of the songs on this album? If so then no surprise it is good. Will check out on emusic later.
You're on the money
Paul is the bloke who gave me my copy. As well as writing two of the songs he co-produced the album. Paul has written some incredible songs over the years and deserves to be more widely known.
There's another track from the Amitri fellow on the CD too.
Mr Rotheray reminds me that The Life of Birds is overdue for another play. So many fine records not enough hours in the day
