'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' film

Have any of you seen this 1978 film, produced by Spielberg, directorial debut of Robert Zemeckis? I remember seeing billboards for it at Universal Studios and all over LA on a holiday there that year, never seen the film.

Or the same year's
'Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band' film, with Peter Frampton, the Bee Gees etc.?
I've seen
'I Want To Hold Your Hand'...but only once. It seemed to vanish without trace. Good fun as I recall. It followed a group of girls as they tried to break into the Beatles' rooms at the Plaza during their first US trip in 1964. They make it and hide under the bed. The 'Beatles' then come in and sit on it. The Fabs are never seen but they're heard...and we do see their iconic Chelsea boots.
Me too
I saw it at the cinema, and I’d forgotten all about it until I read this post. I vaguely recall it as a well-made, entertaining movie, devoid of stars but full of wit and charm. A clever take on Beatlemania, but never likely to win any awards.
I saw
Across the Universe last night. It has absurdly literal interpretations of Beatles songs in it (like, at one point, a woman named Prudence is refusing to come out of a cupboard, so to get her out they sing... well, you get the picture), plus Eddie Izzard murders -- and I mean *murders* -- Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite, so much so that Bono's I am the Walrus is like aural nectar in comparison. But despite all of this I quite enjoyed it.
I saw it
..years ago, charming and well-made. Across the Uni is plain dreadful but the best Beatlesque movie has got to be The Rutles:All You Need is Cash
I wanna hold your hand
It keeps popping up on the sky movie channels. Years since I watched it, but like the others said it's good fun.
But anyone remember that film 'Birth of the Beatles' with Nick Cotton as George Harrison, Nigel Havers as George Martin and the producer of Balamory as Brian Epstein?
Very vaguely from 1980
but I just found it here
It looks, shall we say, mildly diverting.
