Entertainment For Lively Minds
I just want to thank one of you...
A few months ago one of you gorgeous people posted a video of Dawes doing A Little Bit Of Everything and it made me jump out of my chair. I got the album and then spent weeks shouting about it, buying it for close friends and generally talking up its credentials, its authenticity and its general gorgeousness. The thing is I'd like to say thank you. I've done the 'Search' thing on the website but to no avail. The gift of music is the most important thing in my life. I love doing it and my closest friendships are glued together by the music we've shared. So, whoever the kind benefactor was, please reveal yourself. A pint of the most flowing, foaming intoxication will be forthcoming. In the meantime here is said Dawes giving the 2nd best cover of this HJH classic a right royal shellacking. (Backing vocalists may be refreshed beyond normal levels.) If anyone was in any doubt about this band, cast those doubts to the four winds; they rock!

great to see
a young band paying proper respect to the classics. A perfect homage, right down to the split screen.
Any excuse to post this..
(smiley thing!)
UK dates
They are playing on 17th Feb and 5th March in London and 18th Feb Manchester. Tasty.
It wasn't me
But by coincidence I spotted them a couple of days ago and linked on this thread.

Just watched the clip above
That is a great, sweaty performance. I particularly loved the work of Phil Mitchell on BV's.
