Last night I dreamt an old friend and I were having a jam session. My friend remarked that everything was ironed and pressed on Monday but he was looking forward to having a crumpled Thursday, to which I replied "that would be a great name for a band". "Don't you think it's too similar to Egg Friday?" "no it's great" went the conversation.

I then woke up smiling at my genius, convinced this was the best band name ever. Within minutes I was starting to realise my folly, by the time I was downstairs with a cup of tea I was laughing at the absurdity and unoriginality of the name. I can now fully empathise with Mr. Ellen's Egg Friday experience and quantify that they were a massive influence on Crumpled Thursday.

Perhaps we should literally dream up a band name for every day of the week. Post them tomorrow morning.
