I can't keep up with you

herecomesbod's picture

I take my hat off (if I wore one, that is) to you all who can devour music, books, tv, dvds, and all the other stuff that makes The Word what it is. I don't work in the 'entertainment' business. I just rely on those who do to entertain me. I struggle to make time to fit it all in. And I don't lead anywhere near a busy life. So well done and thank you.

Totally agree with you

Totally agree with you Gerry. I do not watch much TV,read when I get chance and do spend a lot of time reading websites like this blog and listening/watching music online.

I wish someone would pay me to be a full time radio presenter as would give me an excuse to spend even more time listening to music. I already have a mass of music on Spotify that I am trying to get through but the list just keeps growing and growing.

I would start doing a music podcast *that would give me an excuse) but do not have the technical knowledge or equipment needed. Also don't think the GLW would be too happy :-)

Join the club

I don't think any of us can. That's one of the biggest reasons I spend so much time here.
It's important that when you do find a little nugget you spread the word here(excuse the unintended pun).

Between us we've probably got it all covered

But to be honest I hardly watch any Tv, or movies. I'm a prisoner of rock and pop!

I don't think anyone really keeps up

As Dr. Volume says above, between us we've got it all covered, so you end up thinking people are more clued up than they are.

I mean, I'm pretty good on new music, but my knowledge of "old" is somewhat lacking, I watch about two hours of TV a week and I haven't been to the cinema in six months. We'd all like some more time.
