Humorous ditties
Nobody does them any more. I still laugh at Fred Wedlock's Oldest Swinger In Town, you know. They used to appear in the charts, even.
I am reminded of the comedy song (Don't Jump Off The Roof, Dad, by Tommy Cooper just popped into my head, too) as I have been introduced to the wonderful Mr B, The Gentleman Rhymer, a cross between terry-thomas and Public Enemy, who makes me laugh like a drain, even after 20 listens. Marvellous.

Howard, Hill and Hitler
I used to have a copy of Frankie Howerd's J'Taime somewhere, and Chris Hill's Bionic Santas.
K-Tel's Goofy Greats (I got it for Christmas aged 10) was a definitive comp' of this sorta thing - Judge Dread's Big Six threw a spanner in the sweet sherry and caused a few theatrical gulps when it came on though.
Have you checked out Frank Sanazi

Stranger on my Flight
May I
interject with the mighty Lancashire Hotpots - a faux-folk ensemble with songs about a chippy tea and a chap turning emo. Cracking stuff
Beat me to it Paul

Awww. Good old Cappo.
I used to work with Tony Capstick. Great bloke. Occasionally very dangerous to know. Sorely missed!
The second-greatest record ever made. . .
is, of course, Mel Blanc's "I Taut I Taw A Puddy Tat". (I just thought I'd remind everybody in case they'd forgotten.)

One man's humorous is another man's tumorous
I've sung the praises of this one before -
"Gossip Calypso" by Bernard Cribbins:
"Up Je t'aime" by Frankie Howerd and June Whitfield:
"The Martian Hop" - The Ran-Dells:
"King Tut" by Steve Martin:
This isn't exactly a "humorous ditty", but it is THE FUNNIEST SONG EVER WRITTEN:
"Gee, Officer Krupke" from "West Side Story"
