Hugh Grant & Hacking

In light of the events unfolding in the last week I thought some people may like to revisit (or visit for the first time) Hugh Grant's article on his meeting with Paul McMullan.

what a let down
Damn, I was hoping that maybe 'hacking' was some kind of euphemism for stuff that he did with prostitutes while cruising around the meanstreets of LA in his downtime.
Remarkable
For me, the strangest twist so far in this soap-opera-in-progress that is the fall of the house of Murdoch, is the emergence of Hugh Grant as a figure of substance, deserving of respect.
Absolutely.
Steve Coogan, too. And this despite certain people trying their damnedest to discredit them on the basis of their past indiscretions. Grant threw it back with immense dignity at that twunt John Gaunt on Question Time, and the force of Coogan's scorn at Paul McMullen on Newsnight the other day nearly cracked my TV screen.
Awesome. In the sense of "deserving of awe".
The folks with the lashes on their backs...
... are retaliating in kind.
Wine has been taken I admit. But also, well done those men!
It is the biter, bit.
The politicians, the slebs, the BBC, those who have had to toe a line enscribed by the written media, suddenly they have been given a very big stick. With a lot of shit on the other end of it. They are hitting Murdoch with it at the moment. This will soon become boring. Other targets will come into their sights.
Anyone who manufactures shit-proof hats and is looking for a big order might well consider contacting Mr P. Dacre, c/o The Daily Mail helpdesk.
whats also interesting to me
Damn autocorrect.
