How to spend £1.98

Go on to Amazon and order the Proper Folk collection - its the best value for money you can get outside of a packet of condoms!!!

Thanks for the heads up

Looks ace. Have just ordered mine.

Actually, I got mine for £1.99 (1p more expensive, dammit) from play.com - but that does include free delivery. otherwise I'd just fritter away another £13.02 at amazon to get the free delivery from them...

Looks Proper good (fnar fnar)

Tho' I spot my bete noirs, Bellowhead therein. I've still popped it in the amazon basket, tho', as I won a £100 amazon voucher as a prize recently and the sums always mean you are about £1.98 short or have to go over budget with a further addition
(I know I shouldn't really be pointing this out, but did you not mention that you write some of the bylines (or should that be buylines?) for Proper?)
What else, dear readers, should I invest in?

Or try your local record store

I bought mine several weeks ago in HMV (and yes, it was £1.99). I went looking for it after seeing an ad in Word, so there you go - advertising works.

Lethal addiction.

Say goodbye to at least a hundred quid over the next year or so if you buy this compilation. It isn't priced at £1.99 out of the goodness of their hearts. It's because they want to get you hooked on their evil folk music habit. Say No, Kids!

Ah the sweet smell of folk

...would be more effective than a packet of condoms in my house. My wife is allergic to folk, and would just be waiting for the aran sweater and beard to appear.

Forget safe sex, how about no sex if I indulged in my 'folk habit'

In other words "You can folk right off!"
