Bucks Fizz: The Lost Masters, Vol 2. Think it's a joke, huh? Think again.
Wow, three hidden tracks!
Just another fourteen to go then?
"The Best CD on the planet right now!,"
says one of the reviews
*faints from the horror of it all*
I picture...
a middle aged man sitting in the corner of a darkened room wearing only his y-fronts staring at a wall festooned with posters of da Fizz, said CD playing at deafening volume...
Mmmm.
Would have been better as a CD + DVD combo. Harrumph! For the man you mentioned, not me...
Believe it or not...
...they have a pretty large following who will buy these things. Probably alongside the latest release by Cliff Richard.
I would have thought Bucks Fizz were just the cup of tea for all the prog heads on the Word blogs anyway...

Fortunately...
...due to our eminently sensible copyright regulations, he will be earning royalties from that for many years to come. Hurrah!
Now then, has anyone else YouTubed "Jay Aston" as a result of reading this, or is it just me...?
Didn't need to...
...I was very impressionable back in 1981. Jay Aston is permanently tattooed on my memory....
I've made my mind up...
I'm not buying it.
They are just trying to prove
they have'nt lost their sparkle.....sorry, it is late
Thanks....
Now every time I check on Amazon, I get recommendations for Toyah and the Thompson Twins Greatest Hits......
I'll need to do some serious searching of "cool" stuff to reset my Amazon profile now (and that'll probably cost me money due to my low resistance to temptation.....)
Let me see
Rolled Gold, Forty Licks, Jump Back - Best of '71-'93, Singles Collection: The London Years, Hot Rocks 1964-1971, Rarities 1971-2003.
Yes, expect more of the same from The Strolling Bones & Universal in the coming months.
DVDs too
I was in the local library today, scanning the DVD racks looking for Series 5 of Shameless (found it too, I've watched the previous 4 series in the last fortnight, all borrowed from the same source). I was brought up short to discover that it is possible to borrow, or, I suppose, buy, box sets of Pie in the Sky.
Who in the name of the wee man wants to put out heir hard-earned in order that they need never be without an episode of Pie in the Sky to watch on demand?
