His Jobsness speaks
Posted by James Blast on 16 September 2011 - 7:20pm.
just posting this, I make no comment:
"All external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.
"Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.
"You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."

Gosh...
I can't decide if that's the deranged ramblings of an unrepentant hippy, or the profound insight of a man who's stared death in the face.
For obvious reasons, I incline to the latter but then again there's still a vestige of the sprit of 67 in me :-)

"His Jobsness" though? And for a guy who can conclude with the advice, "Stay hungry. Stay foolish." C'mon!
bit 'a fun
