The final episode... Nils gets a trampoline delivered to the hospital and after many failed attempts and much soul-searching, executes a perfect back flip. Cue a lot of weeping and hugging and a recorded message from Bruce Springsteen in which he congratulates him on his successful op and looks forward to some trademark Lofgren trampoline action with the E-Street Band in the near future...

For me, I think one of the grimmest reminders of how we age along with our heroes, was the fact that Sneaky Pete Kleinow, pedal steel wizard of the Burritos, died of Alzheimers disease....
Mind you, looking at the sleeve of young Mr Lofgrens recent tribute to his early employer, Nils does Neil (or similar), at least his hair is still an unblemished russet colour.
