High-speed Beatles audio quiz
Here's a little holiday teaser for you. Five days after the assassination of John Lennon, radio engineer Rob Grayson compiled a montage of every Beatles song in alphabetical order and aired it following a ten minute period of silence. It lasts 16 minutes. How many can you name as they play? It's easy because you know they are in alphabetical order ... but it's hard because they come so fast!

Free As A Bird.
I hate to be Mr Pedant McPedant but if that was compiled five days after the assassination of John Lennon how come it contains "Free As A Bird?" Was this available in some form then? I wasn't born so I don't know.
[Edit, answering my own question] Apparently "The version here has been updated to include material from the Anthology series...In 2006, I created a new digital remix (Version #9), with all music sourced from CDs."
If it was digitally re-done I'm a little less impressed by the editing.
We were...
...just on our way out. But then I thought, what fun, all of The Beatles songs in alphabetical order, and all. I dragged Mrs B back upstairs, and she said, "so what?"
You know, I think she might have a point.
Or as Mrs Elliott put it
"We're only on "A" and already it's annoying'
Yes...
I made it as far as All My Loving. Even on a wet bank holiday, I've got better things to do.
