Thanks!

I always remember where I first saw Ms Christie - lighting up grim Bradford in Billy Liar.

Saw Billy Liar again recently

She's lovely of course. He's really deeply unpleasant though isn't he? Loved the book as an adolescent - maybe the humour was stronger in it, maybe I'm just getting older but this time round I sort of thought his parents were right - ho hum

Not fussed

She looks like Peter O'Toole with spaghetti on his head in that pic.

Even as a pre teen

there was a frisson of excitement that Julie Christie produced in me.
Does anyone recall the product (probably a shampoo) that ended with her turning in her chair to face the camera saying "If you don't use X, I'll scratch your eyes out"?
I think the first thing I saw her in was Far From The Madding Crowd.

Was batting way above my average ...

a couple of years ago when i was introduced by friends to a lady they described as "the spitting image of Julie Christie" (she was) and I then went out with her for six months or so. Any pictures of Ms.Christie always brings a smile and a certain stirring elsewhere. We both knew it was not going to last but had an outstanding time whilst it did :-) Happy days indeed!

Picky Bugger

It's maybe just my computer but she looks a bit orange and hair possibly verging on the greasy side. Apart from that, lovely.

Bloody hell...

she could be bright green and she'd still give me the horn.

And she was all...

Orange...
Usually find her gorgeous but she looks like skin cancer waiting to happen in that photo.
