The Hep and The '2

I make no apologies for the fact that I consider U2 to be among the greats and The Unforgettable Fire, which this track, Wire, comes from, is one of my favourite records, but this clip is worth it for the man who introduces it, and he turns up again later on to interview them. See if you recognise him...

Deirdre Barlow called...

she wants her glasses back.

Mr Hepworth bears more than a passing resemblance to countless indie boy Top Man identikit nervergonnabes of today's era. Has some genetic experiment gone horribly right?

On U2, can't watch them now without thinking of Bill Bailey "doing" The Edge having a major tech failure live on stage.

great googly moogly

Our Mr Hepworth looks all of about 12! Did your mother know where you were?

Riccardo Gargiulo | 19 February 2008 - 10:55pm

Hmmm

I think I know where the glasses came from.

In my defence...

...my haircut doesn't look as bad as his.

David Hepworth | 20 February 2008 - 6:34am

True.

Were you never tempted to rock the mullet look, Mr Hepworth?

Patrick Crowther | 20 February 2008 - 10:15am

Great Find

I remember Miami Vice used this track in a car chase to great effect.
