Of the Ron Atkinson school. Admittedly not in the top stream, but still of that "Gary Glitter" type whereby you look upon his actual genuine crimes and think, "yes, but until we knew that, who actually thought his existence and/or opinions were of any *value*?".
See also Piers Morgan.
No-one likes; some people still seem condemned to pay attention. I personally am at a loss.
The fascinating thing about Harry Redknapp is the trail of destruction he tends to leave behind him. Bournemouth, West Ham, Southampton, Portsmouth ...
'Arry has bailed out Bournemouth on a number of occasions.......Doesn't get enough credit for his coaching ability and nous due to this, unfounded, image.
Shame - one guy I'd like to see as the England manager but will never happen
Despite all their faults (or perhaps because of all their faults - I've never really thought about it before), I'll miss Harry and his ilk once they're out the game, for their entertainment value if nothing else. Right now I can't think of any current players who could fill that gap once they hang up their boots. All that media training they endure tends to iron out any trace of real personality - though I suspect quite a few of them had little in the way of real personality in the first place.
But this is prejudice as a Middlesbrough fan. I still remember the vicious glee with which both he and Blackburn's Ray Harford jumped on us at Christmas 1996 over the fixture at Blackburn. Redknapp was the loudest voice screaming for us to have points docked, even though we were so short of players we'd have had to have mostly fielded kids from the youth team and it was Harford's Blackburn we were supposed to play. Harford at least had that excuse/reason.
All of this was, of course, in no way connected to the fact that both West Ham and Blackburn were down there in the relegation zone with us. It struck me as incredibly nasty and opportunistic. Nothing I've seen since has changed my opinion of him. And I'm fairly sure that we would not have reacted in the same fashion had the boot been on the other foot.
Ever since, I've heartily cheered every footballing misfortune that has befallen him.
I can only answer that with this classic

Harry once again proving....

Ghastly
vile person.

To be fair........

Just watching him
makes me want to check I've still got my wallet
Bungdit In
He must have shares in all the companies that produce brown envelopes.
He's just got that "I know that you know that I am as bent as a two bob note but what you gonna about it?" attitude..alledgedly!
It should have been him playing Rodney's dad in Rock & Chips, not Nicholas Lyndhurst.
Dying breed, sadly

I dislike him intensely

Never mind that.
