I know this is old, but I've only just seen it and thought it was a great rant on the subject of the media and getting paid for your work, and seems particularly relevant in terms of the internet and the expectation of free content.

...from someone just starting to get scripts optioned for a pittance and then expected to write for free, I salute you Mr Ellison!
What he should have said is this
Why of course Warner Bros can re-use this clip for nothing just so long as they don't mind my printing up a load of Bugs Bunny tee shirts and selling them on the streets.
