Last month in another Beatles thread...
... I guesstimated around 9 million units of the reissues sold worldwide, plus the box sets, and these numbers don't seem a million miles away from that.
But by comparison, the "1" compilation sold more than that in the USA alone, so it's hard to disagree with the “piss in the wind” assessment in the article.
