Happy Christmas from me :-)
Posted by Cobweb Steve on 23 December 2011 - 4:28pm.
This blog gives me more pleasure than I have any right to hope for or expect. A complex, conflicted pleasure at times but, nevertheless, I would miss it like a close friend were it ever to disappear.
With that in mind, here's a few 'gifts' - at least one of which I 1st saw here - to say a sincere Thank You and Happy Christmas to all of you.
God Bless us every one! (not literally, obviously - I don't want to start one of those threads)

Emmet Otters jugband Christmas....A Christmas tradition.
Ruddy Marvellous.
I found that clip of Ms. Nicks singing Wild Heart a few years ago via a friend and I have to say it is just one of the loveliest, uplifting pieces of music I've heard and I'm always glad to be reminded of it. Pure music, no glossy radio production, genuine talent at play. Shame that it was never released as it was (I think the backing track was used by Lindsey Buckingham for song of his own).
