Handy youtube tip:

Sorry if this sucking eggs but just learnt this via twitter . You know when you post a youtube clip and say "the best bits after 33 seconds" well you can post the clip to start at 33 sec by putting #t=33 at the end of the url for than minute convert time seconds like this
and you get the shouty bit at the end of CSI.
There may be other ways of doing this that I've missed before but I thought it was useful.

This doesn't wok
If you're embedding a video - it only works if the link is in plaintext.
I've just found that out
sadly Fraser and there's me thinking I was being clever oh well : )
btw
here's the plain text for anyone who's interested "
I will stop now
didn't think I'd posted that last one but have posted it again doh! and double doh!
That won't work either
Because our software automatically embeds YouTube videos if the page URL is provided in plaintext.
I know I know
just when i thought I was getting a hang of this here internet i'm off to post a letter.
Chris
You got fooled again.
ha ha have an up
the path if not to hell but at least egg on your face is filled with good intentions.
Why...
...in God's name would you want to lose the first 32 seconds of Won't Get Fooled Again?
Anyone wanting to post the good bits from YouTube videos...
...might find TubeChop useful ;-)
Could some lovely, kind person tell me how to post clips
via You Tube please? :)
Explained better in the FAQ at the bottom
but basically when you're on the page where your clip is you copy the address at the top www.youtube.com/watch blah blah and paste straight into the box where you're writing your post. To be sure this has worked try "preview" before committing to "post comment".
