Great Moments in Lip-Synching

I've just read Peter Guralnick's biography of Sam Cooke. In it, he mentions a TV appearance where Sam and Jackie Wilson lip-synched to Sam Cooke's Everybody Loves to Cha-Cha-Cha.
And it's on YouTube.

Cant find the one

Where it all goes pear shaped for All About Eve on TOTP. Does anyone else here like them? I really like their stuff

Once

I was in love with her. (She didn't know it mind you).

Just before we get inundated with Chevy Chase and Paul Simon...

Here's a couple of my favourites:

Sonny Bono is trying so hard to make Cher laugh, isn't he?

I Got You Babe...

...lip-synched by The Rolling Stones

Brian sings! (And yawns!)

Dr Robert, you are the king of YouTube - thanks for that!

Fabulous

That's very good. I feel like I'm your straight man; just feeding you the lines.

Lucas Hare | 11 August 2008 - 9:35pm

Haha...

...the great All About Eve debacle! I have some TOTP documentary with that one on it.

Keith Moon was an amusingly terrible mimer too, mainly because I don't think he ever played the same thing twice!

Not quite miming to a backing track but this one raises a chuckle every time I see it; this was our Secretary Of State, would you believe!

Blame the band

Here's Ashlee Simpson's lip-synch humiliation on "Saturday Night Live", plus background analysis.
Brace yourselves, all you Ashlee Simpson fans.

Nick Heyward

I recall forgot to start singing on Whistle Down The Wind on TOTP's. He looked very uneasy.

He is worthy of a Word interview though - I think his solo stuff is pretty good.

Owen Paul on 'Pebble Mill At One'

'Pebble Mill at One' brings back ghastly memories of being unemployed.
