They are now part of the Disney empire and they have an impressive body of work to draw on, particularly their early stuff. I now have a little boy, he's two weeks old and when him and his mum were asleep during my paternity leave and Diagnosis Murder wasn't on I set about compiling a spotify playlist for him. I tested it out on him and he likes Randy Newman, Paul Simon, the Lion Sleeps Tonight and some Italian song called Monkey Joe from a film I've never heard of. He also likes Brother Iz's brilliant Wonderful World/Over the Rainbow medley but alas the one that comes up on Spotify is a weird calypso'd up version.

my teeny daughter and I often cheer up a drive with "Here come the 123s". "Here come the ABCs" is good but not as pleasing IMHO.
